I’m John. I enjoy helping people. This trait has enabled me to volunteer and work with businesses and organizations of various sizes and industries (nonprofit, retail, property management). Seeing how organizations manage limited resources inspired me to study Business Administration at the University of Mary Washington, where I received my Bachelors degree.
Effective marketing occurs with a deep understanding of your customers. This understanding should be driven by data, not guesswork. To deepen that skill, I completed a Data Analytics program at George Washington University.
My marketing journey began at a food rescue nonprofit, where I managed the organization’s social media presence on a shoestring budget. Even with limited resources, we used storytelling to reach donors and families who otherwise would not have known about our services. From that point, I was hooked and determined to learn everything I could about using marketing to serve organizations, and the people who rely on those organizations.
